The Summer Intern Program of the Purdue University Technical Assistance Program (TAP) is used by small to medium size companies and government agencies in the state of Indiana to obtain summer interns for engineering, technology, and management projects.

In 1996, 77 interns obtained positions through the Summer Intern Program. Purdue professors working with TAP help determine qualified students for each project and maintain contact with interns during the internship. The TAP office at Purdue serves as the coordinator between companies and students.

How The Program Works

The Summer Intern Program website includes job descriptions for all 1995 and 1996 interns, statistics on number of jobs in each major, and an application form with instructions for applying to the program. Visit the TAP Summer Intership web page at http://www.purdue.edu/TAP/Intern.
