[previous article] [next article]Under the direction of Dean Huggins, two people have combined talents to create new web pages for the Engineering web site. Sue Ferringer from the Engineering Production Office developed the graphical look and Kyler Laird worked through the technical problems to reduce loadtime and offer cross platform compatability. Kyler created a table-based page aimed at functioning well when accessed by both graphical and non-grapical browsers. This page works well even when the graphical browser's images are turned off.
Industrial Engineering's John Gadient and Larry Becker have taken the basic design and reworked it for use within the IE web pages. Their efforts have given their school's site a unified appearance and a continuity of presentation.
