[previous article] [next article]The semester before a class is to be offered, professors are asked to provide information concerning the textbooks they intend to use for their course. This information is collected by School and forwarded to Margaret Favorite at the Dean of Engineering office.
This information (all 1,294 entries for this spring, summer, and next fall) have been added to online course information. Additionally a link is in place to an online book clearing house to give pricing information. While this information can assist a student in planning for the next semester, all students are encouraged to wait until the first day of class to confirm textbook selection because the textbook may be optional or the selection may have changed. The URL to use is: http://www.ecn.purdue.edu/ECN/Course.catalogs/Engineering/ Then select the School followed by the course.
