Contest For Top Engineering Web Pages

The Engineering Computer Network is sponsoring a contest to find Web pages which enhance Purdue's image as a first-class engineering school. The top ten pages, as judged by a panel composed of faculty, staff, and students, will be highlighted next fall on the Engineering web site.

Pages will be judged by the following criteria:

• Elegance of design

• Addresses engineering at Purdue or

• Showcases an engineering student's interests

• Compatibility with a variety of Web browsers

Contestants must be returning students for the Fall semester of 1998. To enter, submit your URL via http://www.ecn.purdue.edu/ECN/contest/ by Wednesday, April 1, 1998. Winners will be informed during finals week of the Spring semester. The page, Top Engineering Web Pages, honoring the winning contributions will be posted in time for the start of school in Fall.

Recognition for the top three finalists will be provided by Microsoft and presented by Mr. Ryan Hurey, Microsoft Consultant.
