LabView License Agreement

Announcement of License Agreement
Purdue University and National Instruments have entered into a special
software licensing agreement. Under the license agreement, National
Instruments has supplied to Purdue University the following LabView software:
Full Development System,
Signal Processing Suite,
Internet Toolkit,
Gmath Toolkit,
HiQ Numerical Analysis,
and Data Visualization.
These products are licensed throughout the campus for both teaching and
research purposes. The license does not expire, although there is an
annual maintenance fee to cover the cost of upgrades.

How You Can Get The Software
LabView is available on the following platforms: MacOS, Windows
95/NT/3.1, Solaris 2.X and HP/UX 10.X. Distribution of the software
throughout the Schools of Engineering will be facilitated by your site
specialist. A copy of the software will be provided to the site
specialist in each of the Schools in the near future. The site
specialist will be able to loan out the installation media and
instructions. We are currently awaiting the shipment of Version 5 of
the software, which we plan to widely distribute. If you have an
immediate need for Version 4.X of the LabView software, your site
specialist can arrange to loan you the older installation media and
instructions.
