  The Core Specification files contain the requirements for components such as the radio, baseband, link manager, and service discovery protocol, transport layer, along with interoperability information regarding different communication protocols. The Profiles Definition file describes higher-level protocols and procedures required to implement user level functions using Bluetooth wireless technology.
