LAFLRC Purpose

The Lafayette Lego Robotics Club meets to provide challenges and activities to develop Lego building and programming skills for children, teens, and adults.

We hosted Blocks & Bots on Saturday May 1 and Sunday May 2, 2004

Individual Season

From January through August, the club meets from 4 to 6 p.m. on first and third Sundays of each month to focus on fun challenges and competitions for individuals of all ages.

Team Season

From September through mid-December, the focus is equipping a selected team of 9 to 14 year-old students for the FIRST Lego League Challenge. The team and adult advisors meet twice weekly to prepare for a regional tournament with the hope of performing well enough to qualify to compete at the state tournament.
