Latest Release Version: 10.1.09
Please see the Read Me file for information on what to do after either of the MultiSpec packages have been download. You may want to print a copy of the 'Read Me' file for later reference.
Each of the MultiSpec packages include some sample image files. These are the same ones used in the tutorial in "An Introduction to MultiSpec".
There are two current versions:
- The "Universal version" will run native on PowerPC- and Intel-based Macintoshes running OSX 10.3 through 10.5.* (4.4 megabytes). This is a zip archive file. Let me know if you are not able to uncompress it. - The "Carbonized version" will run on PowerPC- and Intel-based Macintoshes running OSX 10.1 through 10.5.* or those running OS8.6 thru OS 9.* as long as CarbonLib 1.4 or later is in the system extension folder. (1.8 megabytes). This is a zip archive file. Let me know if you are not able to uncompress it.

and an older style (non-OSX) version.
- The "PowerPC version" will run on PowerPC based Macintoshes running OS 7.1 thru OS 9.*. (1.8 megabytes). This version is up to date but it has only been tested on OS 9.* Note that this version will not handle file names longer than 31 characters. This version will be phased out in the near future. Let me know if anyone needs this version for their work.
NOTE: Some may get an erroneous message from Stuffit Expander if you are using a version older than 5.0. If so, after Stuffit Expander quits, you will usually end up with a file named "...sea.1". You can just double click on this file and it will unpack with no problem. You can also download the latest version of Stuffit Expander at: "http://www.stuffit.com/mac/expander/".
The documentation for MultiSpec is titled - "An Introduction to MultiSpec". The 5.01 documentation corresponds with the 5.31.01 version of MultiSpec. See What's New for information on releases since then.
