Dr. Hyun-Seob Song joined our research group in December 2007 as post doctoral research fellow. His research interest includes the following four topics due to his experiences in industry as well as academia, and in biological as well as chemical engineering areas. His work focuses on mathematical modeling and analysis of metabolic systems using the cybernetic modeling approach.  (more)


Dr. Eric Sherer research interest includes age-structured cell models in the treatment of leukemia.

Dr. Jayanta Chakraborty joined our research group in August 2008 as post doctoral researcher. His research interest inculdes population balance modeling of milling of solid particles and study of development of crystal morphology distribution in industrial crystallizers. 

           Che-Chi Shu joined our research group in Fall 2007 as graduate research assistant. His research area is modeling of horizontal gene transfer.

             Meenesh Singh joined our research group in Spring 2009 as graduate research assistant. His research area is modeling of crystal growth and morphology distributions in 

             industrial crystallizers.


             Devaraj Jaychandran joined our research group in Fall 2009 as graduate research assistant. 
             Jun Geng joined our research group in Fall 2009 as a visiting scholar. Her research interest includes modeling of bioprocesses, such as Penicillin production.
              Lalit Khot joined our research group in Fall 2009 as a visiting scholar. He is working on working modeling of biological systems for the production of biofuels.

              Lauren Cervellere joined our research group in Spring 2009 as undergraduate researcher. Currently she is working on modeling of milling of solid particles.

               Andres Martinez joined our research group in Fall 2009 as undergraduate researcher. Currently he is working on modeling of metabolic systems using cybernetic approach.
