To change the colors and shapes used to represent a theme's features (its symbology), you use the Legend Editor. You can open the Legend Editor by double clicking on the theme in the Table of Contents.

With the Legend Editor, you can preview changes and then apply them to the entire theme. Here, the Legend Editor was used to change the color and marker symbol used to display the shopping centers.
