ArcView offers other traditional methods for displaying your thematic data. You can display your data graphically using dot density maps, column charts, or proportional pie charts directly on the theme features.
The graphics below show a few examples of these techniques.

A column chart displayed on the theme allows you to compare values for different attributes that are associated with each feature. A pie chart can help you see how attributes compare to each other as well as to the total of all related values. This example show the ratio of each group to the total population. Each circle is sized according to the total population for the county. |
