• Electronic scales do not work in a moving car. They do not work in a standing car thatŐs idling either. Similarly, they do not work in a plane. ThatŐs because the mechanism that calibrates the scale needs stability to work: the little vibrations of the engine makes it fail to be able to calibrate properly. So if you are going to be in a car/bus/train/plane for a long period of time, you need to pre-measure your food.
  • ALWAYS check whether the scale is set to ŇgramÓÓ units before measuring.
