Fall in Purdue University

These are some of the pictures that I shot during the Fall of 2001 here in Purdue University. Fall colours in Indiana are really something out of this world. All you need is some time to walk around the coutryside and a camera...

Reflection of a tree in a pond.

This is a picture of twin trees near the Purdue golf course. There is a nice little pond nearby, which made the composition interesting (at least to me). This is one of the best pictures that I have taken so far. It's my favourite. It's tranquility personified...

Cherry tree in Fall

The cherry trees have remarkable colours in Fall!! Most of the leaves become orange or red in Fall and this transition is very quick. So is the transition from fall to winter.Yes, the winter comes pretty abruptly here in Indiana.

Pseudo rainbow!! Sunlight shining over the fountain water.

The fountain at the Engineering Mall is a favourite hangout for a lot of students in between the lectures. When I was passing from there one day, I suddenly noticed those pretty rainbow colours formed by the sunlight falling on the fountain water. I wasn't sure whether my camera would capture them. As it turns out, it did.

Fountain at night time

These are 2 views of the Engineering Mall fountain. One during the day time and the other during the night time. I like the night view better.
