My research, as a Post Doctoral Research Associate in Prof.
Supriyo Datta's group, deals with theoretical calculations of
electrical
conduction through molecules. An overview of the research and a nice
introduction
to the theory can be found here.
A collection of programs calculating transport properties can be found
at the nanoHub. These
programs
can be run directly from the web, you only have to create a username/password
(takes <1 min). Both MolCToy and Huckel-IV 2.0 calculates I-V
characteristics
of molecules. More details and most of my published work can be found here
