Undergraduate and High School Students Conduct Research on
Printer and Sensor Forensics as Part of SURF Program.
PSAPF Summer 2006 Students
Anubhav Sharma
-
Anubhav Sharma is currently pursuing a Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering. This fall, he will be a junior at
Purdue University. He is working with Professor Jan P. Allebach and Gazi N. Ali in the field of Image Processing in the
Electronic Imaging and Systems Laboratory (EISL). The purpose of the research is to extract intrinsic features of
electrophotographic printers for classification purposes. He is planning to continue research in order to develop an optical character recognition program (OCR) to detect numerous typefaces and sizes.

Katie Bouman
-
Katie Bouman is currently a senior at West Lafayette Senior High School and is planning to major in Engineering.
She is under the guidance of Professor Edward J. Delp and working with Nitin Khanna to research camera forensics in the
Video and Image Processing Laboratory (VIPER). She is also analyzing the effect of data manipulation on the
identification process. She is continuing with this project in order to extrapolate a similar method of identification for scanner forensics.
