Our paper Negative index of refraction in optical metamaterials has been identified as the most cited paper within the last five years (Nov 2004 - Nov 2009) among all journal publications in the OPTICS category as defined by ISI Web of Science (The ISI category OPTICS includes in total 72 journals in the field of optics. Each year these journals publish a total number of over 15,000 papers. Here is the link to the full list of the 72 journals).
Out of 5 most cited papers 3 come from our Lab (highlighted bright yellow here; full text: #1; #2; #3).
The NanoRod Material developed in our Lab has been named a winner in the second annual Nanotech Briefs Nano 50(TM) Awards in the Technology category.
Presented by the Nanotech Briefs magazine – the monthly digital publication from the publishers of NASA Tech Briefs – the Nano 50 recognizes the top 50 technologies, products, and innovators that have significantly impacted, or are expected to impact, the state of the art in nanotechnology.
