Membership:

Q: How do I become a member?

A: Fill out a membership application which can be found here or in the SWE office and return to the SWE office (do not mail to national SWE) with the dues of $15. Preferred method of payment is credit card or check. One may turn in a membership application at any time, although in order to be eligible to attend the annual Awards Weekend Luncheon and Job Fair, your application must be received no later than two weeks prior to the event.

Q: How do I get involved with a particular activity?

A: Contact the person who is in charge of the event. Their information can be found on the ODC Board page.

Q: When are SWE meetings?

A: SWE meetings are once a month. The date and times can be found on the calendar.

Q: How do I become an Office Assistant (OA)?

A: Becomming an Office Assistant is a great way to get your feet wet in SWE. It requires a commitment of only one hour per week and will give you the opportunity to get to know one of our ODC board members. Contact the Secretary to get started..

Q: How do I become part of the Officer, Director, and Chair Board (ODC)?

A: ODC board is elected in April of every year with open positions filled at the beginning of every semester. Check the ODC board for open positions. If you are interested in an open position, fill out a petition from the SWE office. You will be contacted about your interest shortly thereafter.
